NEW in 2008: Our brand spankin' new Harbor Hoist 40 ton travel lift is operational! It s complete with four wheel drive on demand and a four point lift and 2,000 pound rated hydraulic boom for mast removal. Yankee Point is the safest spot around for hauling your boat because our storage yard is 20 feet above sea level.
Our pool side cafe' (with ABC license for beer and wine on-premises), laundry and handicapped rest rooms are open for business! Come on in by boat, by car or by foot and enjoy! The new salt water swimming pool is open to all at a very economical family rate too.
Conveniently located only 10 miles from the mouth of the Rappahannock River, Yankee Point is located on Myer Creek just off the Corrotoman River on the Northern Neck of Virginia. There is excellent sailing in protected, deep waters only a mile from the docks. Beautiful scenery coupled with a laid back life style make the area almost heaven.
Our marina is a world renown Chesapeake Bay attraction - we have boats from Africa, Germany, Australia and points in between! About 50% of our slip holders come from the Washington DC, Richmond, Fredericksburg and Hampton Roads areas because of the easy access, beautiful scenery, fantastic protected yet challenging sailing areas, and relaxed, casual atmosphere. It's a great place to "get away from it all" and get back to what you have really been looking for.
Yankee Point Marina is a "must visit" and a hard place to leave! We pride ourselves on our warm friendly atmosphere, superior service and attention to our sailing partners’ needs.
